This definitely has some potential. I'd say if you can mix the drums into a bigger spacier sound and add some low-end pads or long bass notes with plenty of harmonics and dynamic filtering you could get one of those really epic sounding movie soundtrack kind of vibes. I like what this is starting with though, has a pretty melody.
I started this and have no idea where to go with it, but it sounds too good to abandon.
