Triboelectric charging within the plume of a volcano results in electrical charges that generate when rock fragments, ash, and ice particles in a volcanic plume collide and produce static charges, similar to the way that ice particles collide in regular thunderstorms.

This track might be my new favorite. I put a lot of new knowledge into it that I picked up within the last 3 months.
