    Find a track you can reference and try to find a similar mix to that. First and foremost, it should be the same genre as the music that you are producing. Secondly, consider what key your reference track is, especially for the sub bass frequencies which have a different sort of overall sound. And finally, make sure your reference track is at the right volume, the audiotool plugins should help with that.
