The point was to make the OG sound less flat, which is my biggest and most loving criticism of Batoune <3

Not to say this version is perfect or exceptionally good, but in my opinion it just sounds a little better.

I did some minor EQ work on the master, Edited the bass by cloning it and doing a low sub EQ and a mid sub EQ (to bring out the texture and keep it from competing with the vocals), and adjusted the multiband compressor on the master and added a limiter to bring up the volume. I also EQ'd the vocals so they'd stop competing with the bass low end cuz there were very obvious phase cancellation issues between the two elements.

I only had 30 mins to do this, so this is in no way meant to be an offense, or anything more than constructive . There's plenty more that can be done, I'm sure. I didn't really get those mids to come out the way I wanted to, but that honestly required more specific work on the drum elements themselves, which I did not have time for.

This is literally just meant to show what a little extra love can do to a track, as well as what a different mixing style can sound like!

  • SHE just write an enormous text that nobody would read it entirely

(sorry. i'm judging people based of online nicknames)

    • The important thing is that the person for whom these lines were intended read them.

I find that the work of Le voile brings to this track and I am open to all the mastering techniques that I can exploit, I am a very small user who only uses AT at a few % and I want to progress so in summary, thank you Le voile for taking the time for me!
