meant to be a relaxing synth-like song.

1st time doing reggae, i think

inspired by sublime(slightly)

reggae presets. u can check em out

i guess i also shunned lofi, i just thought I sucked at it, I suppose

anyways, this whole album is for genres I refused to believe I was good at, especially synthwave, but other genres as well. with that being said, so here is a lofi song(ig)

p.s.* i tried to make it more synthwavey, as well as lofi, to keep to the album cover, but idk if i did it right, tell me what you think

shoutout to apoc for teaching me some stuff about mixing, follow them, really cool person :)

very, very, VERY tempted to cal this Lofi Bop Part 2

with that, enjoy

  • The first part is very nice. In the second part (from 1:20 ), only the drums stand out, it needs more synths to fill the space (and I'd increase the volume of the already existing synth in this part). In the third part (from 1:45 ), there's a nice synth idea, I'd see it more as a sporadic element to give variations, instead of sustained notes as its sound is very bold. You can add some delay and reverb to this synth, and play with its LFO rate to create some psychedelic effects. Good job :)
