Rejection. Noun. The dismissal or refusal of a proposal or idea. Alternatively, the action of spurning a person's affection. Or, in biblical terms: as when a person or group of people excludes an individual and refuses to acknowledge or accept them. I find this biblical definition most defining for this song, as I began composing this song as I found myself out of a job.

I'm doing a lot better these days, in part because of the memories of the lessons I have learned during the Cycle.
