what heartache said, clipping kicks really depends on what genre you're making. in trap like this, it's more than acceptable, it's quite common
also don't forget to sidechain

that's because you're into edm, for rap tracks it's the opposite. clippy kicks in rap tracks is pretty acceptable, but not for edm, bass music, etc

Actually clipping your kick is really bad imo.. It makes it sound excessively bass-boosted and kinda grainy. I usually just use a curve and a compressor on everything to avoid much clipping that way the kick sounds overall good in quality and not just loud.
