      The 808s are pretty loud in comparison to the rest of the drums, so that's why I'm saying to lower them. I get the style is to have punchy 808s, but they get through the mix too much

      Lower the 808, and remove some mids. The 808s also sound slightly out of tune. Put a compressor on the master, with an EQ at the end of it with lows and high boosted, and mids removed.
