Yeap, awesome. I am a bit late to the party. I really like what you have done here. I would have to agree with the comments below. I listened to the others in this contest and yours feels more complete. The complexities make it more original, not the growling bass. I must admit, I peed a little after I heard it.

After realising that I had been conclusively trumped for any sort of cool bass I could possibly make, I threw everything into winning the prize for Best Percussion.
K so here it is.
Neglected everyhthing else for a week.
Put sweat and blood into those drums (no loops)
Wet myself.
Cried.
Had fun.

Really, really good job re-mixing this. You actually added some material to the trumpet licks, varied the drums, played with the bass and still the kept the jazzy feel of the original while making it all better and richer. This ties with my top fav and I've heard almost all the remixes. I like where you're heading.
