Exact! There are tracks in which the clipping only occurs in the central band (500-2kHz) and that way you only compress that band and do not subtract dynamics to the other frequency bands. Each band compresses only what it needs.

What is so significant about spreading compression across five bands? Does it give you more control over the balance of the sound?

i can see that 5 channel multi-band compression now. Awesome thank you i will learn from this and put on more of my songs.

I think the ducking might be a little to strong on the high notes. The melody synth could use just a little something to give it a little more of an organic feeling, maybe just a touch of modulation, or a bit of a lowpass filter? Otherwise I like this!
