this is nice, but i would try to preserve some the grittiness of the original mix
sometimes an imperfect mix is the perfect mix

ah its definitely a preference thing. theres no right or wrong way of doing anything in music if it sounds good to you go for it

yeah I see what you mean. I'm generally not a fan of that type of bass because it makes everything muddy. I like more focus on the melodies/chords, I think it might just be preference
