A call to arms

to seize a fort,

was tasked one man

with enemy at port.

And so he rode

to warn us all

the impending doom

about to befall.

'Tis the tale

of just one man,

who woke the beast

by the horse he ran.

His light once bright

began to fade.

He died so humble

in the silver trade.

To this one man

I raise my tankard.

In cheer of fan,

'"Tis Revere!"

"Be heard!"
