To the greatest producer that ever lived. Today is your day. This is my thanks for inspiring me and producers all around the world. Your art also made me and my brother become closer. Hope you guys enjoy the beat. Happy Dilla Day.

  • Lmao I closed the website for 10 minutes... Thanks anyways guys. :) I plan on making a better tribute at some point.

  • oooooh

  • Jay would love this.

  • Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

  • Exactly! Dilla wasn't all about making a complex beat, all he cared about was if it sounded good or not, which is why he'a my favorite producer of all time. Go head Ray Ray!

  • Kahliel my NIGGA! My brother really likes this one too. Jeff you're right I did find two samples and just put them together but that was Dilla's style. I've listened to his beats pretty much all my life. That was the whole point of this track. And in case anyone is wondering my favorite album is Vintage Vol. 2. And my favorite track is Kamaal.

  • We all sample to an extent bruh bruh. I don't know who you are outside of producing, so I don't dislike you or anything haha. As a producer I think you're incredible. I admire the work you put into your tracks and of course I'm gonna follow such a driving producer. I got loads of respect for every producer here (except Jade666[she don't produce lol]) I just like what I like and I don't need to be impressed by the production to enjoy the sound.

  • "bruh bruh" -_-

  • And as for favorite album: Donuts. Favorite song? I don't have just ONE favorite but my top choices are Wont Do, Pharcyde-Runnin, Donuts(intro)/Welcome To The Show, Fall in Love and Anti-American Graffiti.

  • You might be able to recreate it, but you can't re-invent it and that's what's key here. You're a good producer, but don't let it get to your head bruh bruh. And I did open it up and look. It may not be as chopped up, e-qued, or even as professional as your tracks are, but it aint about that bruh bruh. It's about what the ears want and, sorry, but my ears are feelin this track. Whether it was made with 800 drum machines, or one sample, I'm feelin this track.

  • so... what's your favorite Dilla album. Or song?

    Don't google it either :)

  • Your point? He may have only used samples but the effects, composition, and equilizing is all him and he did it PERFECTLY. With all do respect, jeff, Ray Ray deserves his credits. One love

  • BTF!! BTfrikkinF!!!!! This is just incredible. Can't believe I didn't see this!

  • BEST BROTHER EVER.

  • This needs more views!!!!
