This is still rough around the edges, and is by no means the finished project. The mixing was driving me crazy so I decided to go ahead and publish what I have. Since the deadline isn't until September 31st, I'll definitely be going back and tweaking this.

What I did:

I loved the pads in the original so I held on to them. I kept the chords, but shortened their pattern to give the track a quicker melody. I made the rest of the synths from scratch.
