really like the chord progressions in this! mix seems a bit wonky though, nothing has any clarity/seems like its all occupying the same freq space so nothing is shining through, easily fixable with corrective EQ :)

The 808/909 are good drum machines but with oneshot samples you can specify what kind of percussion you want, instead of being bound to the same percussion again and again. I wouldnt be able to recommend certain samples cause I vary in my usage a lot, but just type in kick/snare/hihat/etc and scroll through and listen to them all and you can pick what you like :)
