So I used the sample in three ways: almost always as a bass. The first is more or less unedited, as the main bassline. I threw in some split o rms compression to add a bunch of overdrive into the input signal, and pulv to add some filter shenanigans, threw in a gate for good measure to make sure the it doesn't cap out. The second used much tighter samples, and was more strictly patched through the pulv: using really low decay and low sustain along with a filter LFO to create the wobblewobble. The third use was my favourite - but I didnt get much use out of it. Throwing it through a comb filter to create this weird horn-esque effect. All of these samples were overlaid with a sample one octave higher and like ~-10 db quieter to mimic some simutaneous octave bass. I clearly didn't pay nearly enough attention to this, as the octave higher is slightly out of tune. I didn't have enough time to fix that before contest end, so I guess i'll just wait until the contest is over, and update it then.

Over all, a fun little challenge. Learned a lot about using the input audio from the pulv.

As always, I haven't a clue what genre this is. I'm so bad at genres and tags. Gimme a hint.
