I kinda see both sides of this, I literally just made my first song with no samples but I suppose it does come with practice. (and not knowing exactly how to use the synth.
Here is my remix of the ironically named work hard.
Listen to me, Magic Tracks. If you want to try to be something you're not, go do something that's not harassing people.
Harassing people is not fun, just as much as a track called Work Hard has to have hard work put into it.
Granted, I use samples, but very few of my tracks rely solely on samples.
The point is, be unique. Otherwise, you wind up like Magic Tracks. Picking on 13-year-olds.
