Here’s the long-awaited results for the Found Me Remix Comp!

This vocal challenge was started as an opportunity for people to get their remixes released in a remix album of my upcoming album. And I am so glad that I got so many good remixes from the community. I really can’t thank you guys enough for supporting me.

1. Icebox & Yana - Found Me (remix) [Entry] by @XculE

Xcule, I can’t tell you how much I love this remix. It’s the perfect balance of soft ambience and impactful EDM. I really love those plucks you put in the atmospheres, as well as the way you distorted and bitcrushed the vocals to give it a crispy texture in the ambient sections. The drops are very clean, well mixed, and have a nice melodic composition behind them. I also love the way you rearranged the vocals in certain sections to give them a whole new purpose as a nice beautiful background element. I love the 7th and 9th chords that you added to give a lot more emotion compared to the basic triads I had in the original. Truly the best among the remixes.

2. Icebox - Found Me (Astrel Remix) by @astrel

Astrel! I loved this remix of Found Me. That snare in the verse is my favourite. It’s so back in the mix and so snappy and creates a very nice beat with the acoustic like drums in the track. The drop comes in very powerful, and the vocals here are very well mixed. I love the little distorted vocal chops in the drop, and it’s definitely one of the best future bass renditions of any of my songs. The guitar you added, and that buildup, everything about this track is perfect!

3. Found Me Remix Challenge (ER entry) by @EscapingReality

Sup ER! I’ve been eyeing your music secretly for a while now, and I just wanna say I really love the way you structured the song! It has a lot of interesting sound design, and my sister absolutely loved your remix (it’s her favourite actually xD)! I love the plucky, liquid-like sound design in the drop, though it would have hit harder if the saws were mixed better, and if you had gone for a better selection of drum samples. But either way, this is a very good remix!
