Pressed: Opaqity

Total playing time: 0:25:39

Well now, I haven't been on here in a while. I have a lot of catching up to do in terms of music from people I follow.

But what I thought would be fun was to do a few silly little compilations of music from the people I follow. It goes along these lines: I find less than 25 minutes worth of an artist's music that would sound good and flow well if it were pressed into a 12-inch record. the first half is "Side A," with a good opener track, good tracks in between, and a track that ends it well but leaves the door open a crack. Then comes "Side B," where it all picks up again with all the novel "B-sidey" stuff, and ends with a good track that doesn't leave you "empty-handed" so to speak.

Sound fun?

  • I know that in many cases there are more than 13 minutes per side in an album, but it doesn't seem to be as common. Some people even insist on having more blank space in between the grooves of a track.
