  • still so beautiful u the best <3

  • These piano songs are completely emotional to me.... It is beautiful, and my favorites forever..... words can't speak for this beautiful music, it is simply too beautiful.

  • Then you can move on to adding in the bassline. When recording that sounds clean and even, move on to the rest of the stuff. The eight note lines will be hard to make even, but if you are feeling the pulse on 1 and 3, you will probably find them easier to smooth out. Nice composition! (Might make the bridge a little less busy)

  • To practice this, pull out a metronome, set it to the tempo you want the song to sit at, and practice only clapping the clave pattern you used for that groove. Focus specifically on hitting four cleanly. When you think you have it, record yourself clapping the rhythm without the met. Then see if the recording lines up with the met.

  • Now let's talk about time. Don't rush beats 2 or 4. It has to be absolutely solid, especially on this kind of song. When you get to those eight note lines, your tendency is to rush them. In fact, you rush so much that by the end, the song feels unsettled, and the swing becomes noticeably more ragged.

  • I like this! So straight into critique. The swing feel is a little jagged. Careful not to get too far into the sixteenth feel, it should be a nice triplet feel or even straighter for this smooth type of sound. It's mostly going to be your phrasing that makes it sound swung.

  • whoa nice swing, and i like how you play, you're good enough to add musicality and embellishes and dynamic changes to make the whole thing sound great.
