Closers - the lasting impression of a project. Just like with title tracks, I've also had a fascination with them. Usually it's a chance to make something grand, bombastic, emotional... in a similar vein to title tracks, actually, but they tend to be more reflective. My closers have often gone down the emotional route, attempting to offer a bit of somber reflection on the music and themes of the project. Recently I tried something different, instead opting for a long, dramatic track to end off what is arguably a long and dramatic album. Might have been a slight misstep there, oh well.
