@ ole ...I did mention the shrooms. Just don't want to emphasize the drug abuse that was/is associated with this genre. It's trippy enough....no need for drugs ;)

Ok for the guys that have no google & missed the late nineties. Goa is like a underground psytrance genre. It got quite popular in the late nineties with illegal raves. Lot's of them in the woods & most of the raver where high on mushrooms :)

I still remember playing 2000-2002 racing games with goa/acid type trance. Ah, the good days.
How funk is to conventional jazz, I think of goa to conventional trance If this makes since.. it's the only way I process such a vivid genre
