Jackson Hale

It's about four years ago that a kid calling himself 'The Crazy Druminator' made his first tentative steps on our app. One name-change and 138 tracks (resulting in 11205 likes) later, Astrum has reached the peak of Audiotool popularity and long since stretched out his feelers towards the big stage. At the audiotool.con we had the opportunity to experience the energy of his music in a breathtaking live performance which convinced us all: this guy is going places

Musical Style
My style is all over the place, never sticking to a distinct genre. Nowadays it lies somewhere between EDM and IDM and takes on whatever form my mood currently is.
Musical Background
I started playing piano when I was 5 years old, and moved onto drums when I was 9 or so. Since then I've lost nearly all of my piano skills. I played drums in a lot of jazz bands when I was in high school and put in a good deal of time in symphonic type bands as well as an instrumental metal band my friends and I had.
Started making music
I began making music electronically when I was 15. I stumbled upon Andre Michelle's website which showed me the (in)famous Tonematrix. From there, I followed a link to the Hobnox site, found Audiotool, and was instantly hooked on the concept of electronic music production.

Do, or at least try, anything and everything you can think to do. The more absurd, the better.
