Fontana
Fontana, Karl Andrea - aka Fonti
He himself claims to have no experience in music production and not a trace of talent. But with his odd audio collages and a goodly portion of self-irony he has achieved the status of an Audiotool cult figure. From the earliest days of the website Andrea Karl Fontana, aka Fonti aka "King of Audiotool" has always left us wondering what he will come up with next. Hats off for this original personality.

- Musical Style
- PIZZA ... normally I (re)mix everything together, add some samples, a little bit of Tonematrix, some Rasselbock, Tube and Crusher and it ends on … PIZZA
- Musical Background
- Oh my gosh ... there is a lot. I listen to the radio and watch TV.
- Started making music
- Next year (hopefully)
- On Audiotool
- In 2007 I was looking for some Flash web sites and found Andre Michelle's lab with the Tonematrix. I made some Tonematrix live session tracks and I fell in love with audiotool. That's it.
- Message to the community
- Audiotool is a gift, a wonderful parcel. Free, without adverts, no time-limit, comprehensive, accessible for everyone. The fact that Audiotool works with this amount of data is initself a miracle for me. Ok, I can't upload complete audio tracks, of course the libary of other DAWs is larger and possibly, but only possibly, certain functions more elaborate. I like the tools, the modular system with the synth on whitenoise and more than anything the cabling and usability. And then we can publish our works in the community. And last but not least we can invite people to collaborate on a track, and learn from others. Where else is that possible? The bit of spam is negligible. If it gets too much I can mute the troublemaker. But I only used this facility once: the community is just great. If help is needed, you get it immediately. Or you can look at the video tutorials on Youtube. For this and much more to the Aduiotool crew and the community a big THANK YOU!
