Musical Style
One of the things I'm most proud of is that I feel like I'm able to work on music from a wide variety of styles and genres. I love to play around with hybrid genres, and I enjoy pulling influences from all over the place - jazz, EDM, classical, movie OSTs, whatever.
Musical Background
I've been classically trained in piano since I was about eight or nine, in addition to studying music theory. I've also played viola for 7 years in both small chamber groups and larger orchestras. And sometimes I play around with a guitar.
Started making music
I've been listening to electronic music all my life. I guess it was only natural for me to start playing around with the idea of trying to make it myself, so I started looking at free DAW options around 2008-2010, when I fooled around on a site called Splice Music (where I first used the trance10 username).
On Audiotool
When the original Splice Music went down around 2011, I started looking for alternatives, and the visual layout of the Audiotool app at the time was pretty similar to Splice Music's layout. I decided to try a few things out. At first I just played around with loops, but then I started to play with the Pulv and it kind of snowballed from there. I would go over to my grandparents' house and just sit upstairs for hours working on music on crappy speakers - but it just captivated me.
