I'm starting this survey, just out of personal interest.
There are three categories:
- the audiotool studio
- the webpage in general
- the boards
For each category I'd like to know:
- what's the most beloved feature
- what's the most wanted feature
- what's the most annoying bug

bug: double-clicking to place down a note makes the keyboard on the left play a note forever until you click that note again.

bug: you cannot skip the smooth scrolling when clicking on a notification to a reply or comment. I've been trying to find a notification to do this on, but I can't because I noticed that the smooth scrolling is also bugged (: it's either working or not working sometimes.

bug: some people are unable to find the "see more replies" button and think that comments are deleted. I have yet to confirm this, it's really strange.

Annoying Bug: Nothing really comes to mind

Beloved: The Visualizer on the bottom (It is one of the coolest things that has been added, thank you)
Wanted: A mobile app with an interface designed for phones
Annoying Bug: on the app, the condensed menu icon that's a grey box with 3 lines on it doesn't work. I have to turn my phone sideways to access the subcategories (favorites, comments, remixes, etc.)
Boards
Beloved: The option of deleting them lol they always go inactive for me in a short time for when I make them
Wanted: Nothing really, if anything I don't use it often enough
Annoying Bug: No bugs have been brought to my attention when using the Boards

Beloved: The quantum.
Wanted: A way to play samples on a notetrack (keyboard tracking) like in other DAWs
Annoying Bug: Disappearing synths and devices (rarely happens, but when it does, it's a pain.)
The Webpage:
Beloved: An ad-free, all-access, 100% free platform with the potential to make actually good music. No "premium membership" to gain access to certain synths.
Wanted: What more to ask for?
Annoying Bug: Random crashes at random times, but I guess that's usually server maintainence.
Huh... Disappearing devices? Is there a bug report about it?
just thought of a bug for studio
it doesn't happen anymore i believe, but sometimes when i would zoom out, the synths and stuff would stay in the background. as if the desktop background was turned into a zoomed-in copy of everything in the draft.

Wanted: An offline version of the app (studio) that you can download, then again, that might ruin the purpose of audiotool? i don't know, i think it's a cool idea!
Bug: Ok so this doesn't happen that often anymore, but sometimes i open a track and play it and then pause it and then play it again, the volume is extremely loud for a second and then goes back to normal volume. i don't know why this happens and it doesn't happen that often, which is probably why people don't talk about it, so i'm not sure if there is a way to fix this, or if it's just because of my computer, but i just wanted to point that out. thanks. :)
i agree with having a way to play samples on a notetrack tbh.

what is soundfont?

There is a way to extend the machiniste, you press + on the length bit on the top of it and then use the 'range' bar to view the next 16 notes,

@minecraftpawa I don't think he means to extend the length of the Machiniste's pattern, but the amount of available sample slots.
IT WOULD BE SO USEFUL TO HAVE A DEDICATED PITCH TUNER. OR BE ABLE TO TUNE SAMPLES TO A CERTAIN NOTE ON THE PIANO ROLL.

Ive used SDtune and ive also tried to kinda make a piano roll with the machinest by tuning the same sample differently in all the slots but these methods are not the best way i feel this could be achieved

honestly, this board milked a lot of feature requests. if this post wasn't made, nobody would've put up those feature requests and bug reports. but it IS up and people want to participate so they post what they want the most and what they want to be fixed.

in fl studio it doesnt do that...
It depends on what type of algorithm is used. Audiotool uses one that is similar to YouTube's time stretcher

I want it like FL studio to where the manipulation of the stretch is more smooth rather than it being rough to where it's noticeably off.
