Alright my fellow girls, here's what I've been doing for the past two months

A lot of my time was spent either playing video games or working on the album (probably still due in August) so not much time for new ideas.

Next month will really be crunch time so there may or may not be one of these for July

as always, individual descriptions in comments

  • Am I the first listener, really?

    • I'm following you and I have the notification setting for tracks released by people I follow turned on. I know when you release a new track.

    • I don't really advertise these and people aren't that interested in what I do outside of AT

  • 00:00 - 5/06 "loathe" - just wanted to make something really fast. I was angry at the time.

0:40 - 5/7 "remorse" - wanted to try melodic thrash and ended up with something weird.

1:32 - 5/7-2 "forget" - the intro was started on my actual guitar while I was messing around. Otherwise, it's basically the same story as the last one.

2:30 - 5/9 "flies" - first part sounds almost identical to Trivium's "Like Light to the Flies." The second half I imagined in my head while I wasn't at my computer.

    • 5:03 - 6/3 "beast" - fast riff. Sounds kind of similar to Exodus's "Strike of the Beast"

5:41 - 6/11 "rot" - tried doing a mix of German Industrial Metal and thrash.

7:15 - 6/12 "shroud" - basically take the Beast idea and make it triplets.

      7:40 - 6/16 "plasma" - copy comment from Rot

      8:33 - 6/17 "toxin" - tried doing 80's thrash with a more modern sound.

    • 3:15 - 5/25 "lamb" - was trying some triplet ideas out and landed on this, but didn't know where to go with it.

3:32 - 5/25-2 "nexus" - I apologize for the volume, the draft was compressed to hell for some reason. This ended up becoming a track on the album, so look out for that!

4:43 - 6/2 "tapping" - hammer-on power chords, another thing I was messing with on my actual guitar before recreating it in FL. Called it Tapping because I already have an idea named Hammer.
