I feel that the kick in the beginning of this is way too loud. There's not a lot of other stuff going on, so it's not messing with things too much. It's not too bad, but if this was a busier mix, it might start causing issues. Just a friendly suggestion <3
I also love the original track, and have tried my hand at remixes in the past with no success.

Another friendly suggestion, when making album art, try outlining your Text with a dark shadow or border. This will make the words pop a little more without interfering with the image layer beneath it <3 at first glance, this cover is hard to read, imo, and I feel like if it was on a shelf, it would fail to stand out due to it's flat appearance.
I also feel it's important to attach a remake tag or put (remake/cover) in the title so as not to offend the original artist, but convey the meaning
