Astatine is that one element on the Periodic Table that cannot live with itself. Too much of itself and it obliterates itself. Who knew there was an element that cannot be learned about in bulk due to its excessive radioactivity and instability? Seconds are all it takes before it decays. Longer-lasting isotopes of it are entirely synthetic, but still do not give enough stability to be analyzed in bulk. I do not want to be near that stuff! Neither do you!
