The percussion gives that drunk swing kinda vibe. Like I thought it was off tempo at first but then found the pattern. Really suits the vocals and vibe of the song.

The offbeat style is very much intentional, didn't want all vocal tracks to have the same emotion, I'd agree this has a more wider space where as tracks like 'the 1' are more classically put together
