despite riddim being "made to be repetitive", you dont have to restrain yourself to that mold. try adding drum fills, bass fills, some EQ automation, more compelling B drops, automations that change the tone and timbre of your sound. i think that the repetitive nature of riddim is exactly why you should experiment more, to make it more interesting to listen to in spite of repetition
