Abyss is my fourth song in Audiotool. In terms of complexity and the number of devices used, it is much larger than any of my other tracks. It is a trance track which will be included in my upcoming album. The track has a basic drum beat featuring a kick, hi-hat, and shakers, as well as an underlying bassline which is sometimes matched by a hiesenburg supersaw. The track features a pulverisateur synth pad passed through formant filters to emulate a singing effect. The usual sound effects (like my reverse cymbol and clap sounds) are used in this track, as well as a new white noise sample.
The track was set up so Safe Journey can be faded into it. As such, the begining drum beat starts out as the one found in Safe Journey and eventually transforms into a new beat featuring a beatbox 8 and some shakers.
The name of the track was intended to be interpreted in a scientific sense (ie, an abysal plain at the bottom of the ocean).
*Check out my samples! Like I have said before, every time I publish a track I end up adding a bunch of new samples! If you want to know what samples I uploaded especially for this track, just search "Abyss" in the sample library!
**2/21/2017: This track is part of an album, Deep Blue E.P.
*3/3/2017: Fixed panning issues, icreased bass power, and got rid of kick which made the ending seem out of proportion with the rest of the track.
