I'm not the biggest sound design guy, but I thought I'd give some of this stuff a try. Hopefully I did at least decent for my first time, and I hope you'll tell me how I did. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, expect this to be updated every now and then. This isn't 100% finished until said otherwise.

1. Aggressive 808, tried to make Trap Metal bass or something, do some tweaking with it and it might become dubstep-ish

2. Saw Chords, inspired by your average Future Bass song.

3. My Very First Dubstep Bass. Can't really tell where I got this sound from, but I remember hearing it before on like a TikTok Cringe Compilation in like 2018. Not the best, but it's my first original Dubstep Bass so yeah.

4. My First Dubstep Growl. While my first bass in general was more of a regular bass with LFO, this is more of a growl that I controlled through automating a Curve and some Exciters. Hope it sounds good!

5. West Coast Whistle. Inspired by what you'd hear in a lot of old school Hip Hop from the 90's, mainly in the West Coast. The melody this preset plays is actually from the theme song to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

6. Trap Bells/Chimes. While this is labeled as "Trap," you can use this for just about anything that needs a slow, haunting melody.

8/26/21: Added my very first Dubstep Bass! Like I said, I'm still new to sound design, and this is my very first original Dubstep Bass. Coming from someone who uses nothing but presets a lot, please don't expect me to sound perfect from the get go.

  • i plan to add some more stuff, obviously, but it's 3 in the god damn morning and I just don't think I'll be up long enough to make a dubstep bass or something. I plan on it tho

    • also when I get some more on here, I'm gonna make a google doc or something where you can get notes on what to automate and all that funky junk
