  • Well, you definitely know what Speedcore is supposed to sound like. I'd recommend against using already distorted kick samples; they tend to sound real out of place if you try to edit them + it just feels better to make your own kicks from scratch. I'd also suggest reducing the low and high end in the guitar sample just a bit so it can be heard snuggly in between the kicks and any other percussion you might want to ad. (hats, ridea, crashes, snare, etc)

    • "ive never been to any sort of class or really actually had any sort of training in music"

      Neither have I!

      "i actually look up to you a little lol so its really nice to have you helping me aaa ;v;"

      Well, I'm flattered. Your welcome.

    • thank you for replying aaaaa ill keep that all in mind. ive never been to any sort of class or really actually had any sort of training in music so im just putting together what sounds good. i really like your music!!! i actually look up to you a little lol so its really nice to have you helping me aaa ;v;

    • Also, I have to rescind my recommendation against using already distorted kick. (mostly to avoid looking like a fucking hypocrite) I still think distorting the kick yourself is better, but predistorted kicks can be used if you can mix them right, and that will very from sample to sample, but they usually need to be louder and bassier.
