Ok so the beginning ambience is pretty nice
The kick and snare could be a little louder and the snare needs a little more high end so u can eq that up a bit
Something that u should do for future bass and most edm genres is sidechaining where u make the volume of everything dip when the kick and snare is played. Obviously dont dip the kick and snare, but it makrs the kick and snare more audible over the rest of the track
Also the saws that u use for the chords could be more layered and wide.

For audiotool, i'd reccomend waveshaper, i truly don't think its necessary here, I just think it needs some tune automations in certain places, and some random harmonic earcandy

Should I distort it using phase modulation or an effect like the waveshaper?

3 is my method of chose, but don't listen to me, play around with stuff till you think it sounds good, as for the saw in this song, i think its fine, not enough movement, But thats fine
