The phase section is for you to modulate a waveform with another one (Ex. A modulates with B if you set the B colum for row A at a certain level like 60)

The envelopes are like the Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release knobs on the Pulv, you just have a more complex choice with how they work on the Heis

That is true, but when I was strting out with it I had no clue what any thing on it did.
