In loving memory of Barry Frederikgustafson (2001-2026) "Saving the music scene". It is an ambitious goal, one that even the most optimistic, delusional, hyper-positive person in the world would call unachievable. However, in 2018, it didn't stop Frederik Strumhaug and Synthlex Jr. from trying. And, as we can say in hindsight: succeeding. Now, if there were 2 men that could save the music scene, it would be these two. A charismatic Norwegian businessman in Fredrik, and the son of the most incredible, talented producer on the planet, Synthlex. But they couldn't do it alone. And that is where Barry came in. Although he was rather new to the world of music production, he had great ambitions, and was a great learner. His energy, humour and compassion, was exactly what the rest of The Norway Gang needed to push forward. On the topic of Synthlex (Sr.), we always lost sleep over the following philosophical question: in terms of overall importance to our world, does Synthlex rank above, or slightly below God? this is a difficult question in itself, but it becomes even more complex when you take into consideration that Synthlex is so humble, that he himself would not dare rank himself above god. However, that very humbleness might be the thing that slightly ranks him above god. It is the most difficult question known to man. Either way, Barry was the most caring person on this earth, but life wasn't very kind to him, as he suffered from one medical condition after the other. This was previously never communicated to our fans, partly because Barry was an extremely disciplined man, who did not let his conditions prevent him from contributing to studio sessions/live performances, but also because most of his medical conditions would be considered "funny" by the extremly heartless, judgemental modern society. (We are aware that, unfortunately, his conditions will likely still not be taken seriously after his death, therefore this Audiotool page will not be shared directly with his friends and family, though we will forward any positive messages to them). Barry suffered from minor medical issues such as hemorrhoids (a well known medical problem within the wider Audiotool community), though he also suffered from many, far more serious issues, such as testicular cancer, chlamydia, infected ingrown pubic hair, cat aids and a ruptured bladder). He fought hard, but in the end, he died far too young. But in his short life, he did contribute a great deal to saving the music scene, together with the rest of The Norway Gang. His place in the group will be taken by Youssef Balmanison, subject to the approval of his Norwegian visa application. "I will never forget the time when Barry's guitar was not plugged in, which prompted him to say: "My guitar isn't plugged in". His choice of words, mannerisms and medical conditions were truly unique, and he will be dearly missed" -Fredrik Strumhaug
