Downtempo idm aphex-twin squarepusher chillish CC BY-NC-SA 160 BPM

heavily influenced by aphex-twin and squarepusher. Took some time to get this one done. Wanted to capture the essence of those artists. ------ This is the 3rd Entry for the Esports comp. It's my last one. ------ This is not the usual high energy track for an esports competition, but it's definitely one of my best. I spent so much time creating this. ------ Urban Pulse captures the heartbeat of a city, starting with the speaker pop that sounds like a heartbeat and building from there. It shifts from fast, to slow, to faster, and then back again, reflecting the constantly shifting rhythm of life within a metropolis. Kind of like my life thus far.

Made it remixable for the competition. Other than edited some volume here and there.

Wow, I think you really captured the sounds of Aphex Twin and Squarepusher and gave it your own twist, awesome!

And as for drums, I love smashing/cutting samples together and around in machiniste.

Thank you! That means a lot. They are some of my biggest inspirations after all.
