Your melody is gorgeous, first off. The atmosphere is brilliant without the drums. If you can figure out a way to expand the melody in a way that drums aren't needed, then you got a winner. I struggled with how to add drums in my track Isolation, and then realized, they don't need them! Ambient is a more melodic genre than traditional stuff. Overall great track!!

put some more resonance at the slope to the clap ;) .... trust me.... try only... open the track and try ;) .... resonance not at all .... but maybe 70 or 80.... ;)

Gotta agree with Jace. The atmosphere is great but the drums don't seem to fit it.

The essence is captured perfectly in the melody..
I am not a fan of that clap and the 808 kit for this atmosphere.. itmade me cautious of the track itself.. meaning I went from listening to connect with the story, to listening for music's sake. The rhythm is fine! But maybe more of an acoustic choice of percussion? I am biased,,, hope this helps ^^
