-Chapter 6: "Don't Go Away"
Throughout my childhood, there were some things about my Mother that always amazed and frustrated me. The frustating part was that both Aiden and I knew that she knew what really happened to Dad, but wasn't going to tell either of us. Probably for our own "Safety". I never saw how that was fair to anyone. Your two children grow up without a father, you've been widowed for years and we don't get to know the truth because you want to keep us safe?! What amazed me about her is despite all of this, she was always stayed positve, as if everything was ok. I knew Uncle Damien had the answers to my questions. I was finally ready to hear the truth...or so I thought.

No better way to make ur grandad kept alive eternally. Had some major losses in my life as well and music has always been a big therapy for me. I think it will heal u too.

I can relate to you about your loss. My grandma died about two years ago from a cancer that just came out of nowhere and it spread through her bloodstream. I never cried when she died even though I did before she did, maybe because I already accepted she was gone before she died. I guess what I'm trying to say is that she also was an influence on my life and one of the biggest musicians in my family too.
