A new acid track I finished around a week ago. i have no idea what genre this actually is. Is it acid techno? Acid trance? Acid tech-trance? All I know is that there's some sort of acid involved :)

I spent less time mixing this one than I normally do, so if there's something off about it, that's why. Personally, I think it's alright, but I guess feedback is the best way to find out.

Enjoy!

Made some adjustments to the mix & master. Open Hihat is less harsh, clap has some more body, and boosted bass.

  • It's very ravey. 8D

Hey, thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated :)

In regards to your question, I do not use tons of external synths on audiotool, although I do own a Behringer Model D synth, as well as an Arturia Drumbrute. Both of those are new, and I'm looking to do stuff with them soon. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I don't actually own a vocoder, though. The vocoder is from a mobile app called Caustic 3.

    • Love caustic 3! I didn't know you also used it. :D

    • It's a very good app, very intuitive and you don't have to futz around with all the technical stuff constantly. You can get right down to the business of making music. It's a little like Audiotool that way.

    • I will have a look at Caustic 3. I would be interested to experiment with it.

Added an extra crash before the vocoder kicks in at bar 249.

    • Love the track. It is the best acid track I have l ever listened to on Audiotool. Do you like to often use your own synths in Audiotool, out of intetest. Your music is great and will look forward to hearing your upcoming tracks.

    • You got a vocoder, nice. Want to get my hands on one. In fact I hoping to save to get my favourite modules from the Roland Boutique Series. This includes the TR09, TR08, Vocoder and the TB03. These are Roland's remakes of the original 303 909 808
