Stormdrain, Mad Scientist (7/4 dubstep)

00:0001:43

Time signature: 7/4 (totally not simping for phonon)

----------

Very experimental track... 7/4 triplet. I don't think it's ever been done on audiotool before... and definitely not with dubstep on audiotool.

----------

Hope you can appreciate the effort put into this. Personally, I don't really like it. It's very difficult to make anything sound good in 7/4 time. I still hope ya'll appreciate it anyways though! :)

This is infinitely better than polyriddim. Here's why.

-sound design is actually good and doesn't sound like akiri after they eat too much taco bell.

    -it's catchy.

-chords don't sound like a toddler pressing random notes on a keyboard.

    -cröker bass.

    - 1:07

I'm actually working on a 7/4 tearout tune, so I'm glad that this is the first 7/4 dubstep track here just in case my tune flops

Agreed, he did the triplets well... But that sound design was abysmal.

Yeah, as much as a compliment this is I don't think I can agree. Phonon worked with those tuplets very, very well imo.

      Thanks lol.

Also, it's not just 7/4- it's 7/4 triplet, hence it being so experimental. The triplets totally helped with the feel of the track though. I feel like without the triplets, the track would be complete trash. lol

I mean I feel like it was a super cool idea, but I also feel as if the 7/4 time signature wrecked it a but ngl.

I feel like you just insulted music theory.

Disliking music theory is just disliking every music genre in existence. lmfao
