I Don't know and don't mind what genre it is, it's just great to listen! and yeah, a pendulum is definitly what i was listening to this (my 2 kids just did the same without reading the below comments! )

Great sounds and a deep mood! It's not a typical Dub-beat, but it doesn't matter anyway it fits great to the whole track and atmosphere. And it's cool that you try different genres - that's happen, if you follow your hard as you wrote... I like it ;-)

something that would be cool in your lane is doing a one sub-bass with the bass drum tr-808, which was well used in the old Drum and Bass, like this example: (link is only visible to registered users)

Sounds like you've got a good plan! Something else: The piano-type-synth(or whatever it is) is a very expert touch there! It adds a lot to the track! :)
