  • hello from the other side

  • try putting a layer of dry distorted saws in that bitch, mix that shit in LOUD, compress or distort together with the rest of the saws nd boom, nice wall of sound

also make sure that that particular layer has a good amount of low-mids (200-600Hz) so that you can clean up bass frequencies and simply use a sine sub or lowpassed saw for the bass

    • this is probably the most helpful piece of crit i've ever received

      thanks a ton

    • a lot of folk dont really do much mixing when trying to get a 'wall of sound' when, ime, usually thats when i put the most effort into making sure everything is balanced all together.

its easy to make things stand out, but making them blend together takes skill.

  • leadengod

  • bige

  • dr0mstep

  • leaden ascends to gOD TiER

  • love the second drop

  • okay dont judge me since i might be totally wrong.

but i think with this you should look for a different form of crash in the drop since its more bell like the one you are using. on a traditional reallife crash cymbal it usually has a bell part that sounds like what you are using. maybe go for a more lower part of the cymbal (like a fat S P L A S H) that blends better with the chords. also your bass (not the sub) might be a little harsh? turn it down 2-3db i think. sorry if im an ass<3

    • now that i've given some crit i can tell you that i really enjoy the route you took with this. im so happy to see you try out this genre since its kinda what i live for haha <3. you did a real nice job on this

    • no its fine, i asked for criticism so be as harsh as you want

ill look into using a splash

  • The synths leading up to the epic drop sound a bit raw. Thats just my opinion.
