Worked on this for about 2 months, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's probably my best work. If y'all have any advice, I'll gladly take it!
Yea uhm
This needs work in my opinion
coming from my angle, This is poorly mixed, and it seems that no effects were used, so it sounds dry, i mean, you could add reverb with some detune and give the bass more feel and texture
but idk
The plucks do need effects too, i would add some Chorus, Detune, And ect.
Yea, on my opinion, this sounds like something someone new to audiotool would make
your right about the clipping
but effects and mixing are the main key concepts to music
it really does not take much to add effects
typicly for basses like the one in the drop, i would add a stereo detune, then level out the highs, and add distortion, and you have a sic bass
Oh yeah I forgot to use effects lmao. And yeah I've never really worked with bass before but I want to. I just need some practice in that area. As for the mixing, I thought it was pretty decent but then again I don't have access to especially good speakers so I might be wrong. At least I don't have too much clipping on individual levels though

Why am I getting Fairy Tail vibes from this??
yo this is really nice
i really like the ideas. the sound design overall could use some cleaning up but this is a really nice bop
