My computer was a bit slow, but fortunately I was able to throw this together in about 20 minutes.
Any tips? Suggestions? Although I haven't made stuff on here in a while, I don't think I forgot how to use anything. I would want to try Audiotool again, but of course, my computer has to cooperate for that.
I will go back to this at some point, I kinda liked the melody I guess.
One reason audiotool is a little limiting right now is still the fact that I can't use any sample I want, and the only ones in my personal library aren't my favorite.
Well, hope this track is somewhat acceptable, you'll still see me around here from time to time. We need to see some quality trap around here again, besides a few people I haven't seen much of it.

Love it!!! i wish i could learn how to make beats better. Do you know anyone that would make a video explaining how to make a beat like this because I'm struggling to use audiotool.

what i put here is more or less what i would say in a video, so hopefully this helps :)
(to pick up where I left off) there wasn't a preset on the tube, just make it sound punchy but not clipping. for the bass, I used a tube and crusher, i think a preset on the crusher. and the melody was also a preset. I sidechained the kick to the bass, so that's why the kicks might sound extra hard. And there's virtually no variation here, but on a future edit I'll try to add some. And in regards to a video, I think there actually are some videos on youtube, you should check em out.

I agree with what you're saying about the hats and snares, and when I edit this I may go back and fix them. For the melody, thank you! It started out SUPER simple and then I just added some extra notes, but yea, more reverb might not be a bad idea. For the bass, I believe I have a public preset. The kicks were from my own library, but I used a tube on them
never dissapoints w the bass!
