Funk it up Contest

All right, so I passed the 100 followers milestone about a week ago (no big deal) and I thought that it could be a good occasion to organize a remix contest. So here it is ! Rules : 1 - Use audiotool (i mean dont do it all on another daw and import it in at afterward) 2 - I have to be able to regognize the track 3 - Please keep the cowbell ! 4 - Have fun CONTEST IS OVER Winners : Third place : @May-Day -> I really appreciated the new stuff you added (synths and melodies), especially that melody at 1.44 . You lost points on the final mix, witch is pretty harsh, even if you republished, some synths level still need to be lowered. Second place : @theofficialsquirbit -> Nice remix, the synthdesign is great and really changes the spirit of the track (in a good way). The tempo change at 1.22 is a great addition too. Also, the "old beatbox" drums are good and fit very well with your work. In my opinion, this is a great remix but it would have been interesting to hear some new melodies, making it more personnal. First place : @LSD -> Congrats for winning this contest, your remix is amazing. You completly changed the style and sounds of the track, but even there I can still recognize the original one. So, the change for dnb is great, and sound design is really intersesting (in a really good way ! I'll have to take a look at how you did that bass). Original remix with quality sounds (: Congrats !
