Tbh I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this track. The drop seems to drag on a bit with the same yoy pattern. A bit of variation in the drop would do well, and I also didn't like how the drop comes back briefly and stop as soon as it starts. The drone lead in the intro and interlude sections is nice but could use a bit more depth. The yoys themselves could also use a bit more depth, and maybe a stronger subbass. For one final thing, I really don't like the EQing on the snare.
no, i have a layered notch-slope snare that's really high resonance and mid-low freq and mind-low bandwidth (thats how i normally do my snare tho, that layer (lowered volume ofc) adds a really nice punch)
It sounds either like there's too much mid or it's detuned, or maybe both. It could even be because I'm sick and my hearing is slightly warped, but something about it sounds really off to me. Did you put any stereo detune or stereo enhancer on it? If so, I'd remove it.
Overall, pretty decent track that could use a bit more work to make it feel a bit more dynamic and interesting. There are some clever ideas at play here, but I think the execution of them could be a bit better.
