This song was inspired by "The Coffin of Andy and Leyley" and "Cult of The Lamb"
sense those games music and tone is dark and weird I wanted to make something cool and weird lol. If you want to remix this song or do something cool with the melody go right ahead :)

I'm not a huge consumer of techno, but I wasn't sure I got those vibes specifically. Not to sound picky or anything, I just am not sure I agree with that as a tag. There is definitely a bit of...shall we say, dark electro, especially with parts like .
Also I use Bitwig because I heard a song I thought sounded super cool and looked up what is was made in and I got Bitwig 🤣☠️ (my first paid DAW and the only one I use so far)
But yeah Bitwig has been wonderful for me, never has it crashed and it is very fun to play around with (hense all the subtle effects you hear on some of the insturments was made with Bitwig but also some free Kilohearts plugins but mainly Bitwig lol.)
(Side note) I also wanted to give it like a holy effect and make it sound like crazy and ethereal while also making it stay calm. I know what I said made no sense lol but Idk how describe my creative process I just start making something and then I don't stop until it's as I envisioned it to be lol. But yeah thank you for your feedback it means a lot! I always try my best when making things so this was definitely my best work so far, I aim to make better things everytime :)
I honestly didn't have a specific genre in mind when creating this I just started by adding an ambient/ reverby arp thing and then just built from that using Vital for all my sounds. My main goal was to make a song that told a story while also having a fun listening experience. This song was inspired by those 2d visual novel type games and all the songs in those games usually have a distinct feeling that involves what's happening in the game. So I wanted to make a song similar to those :)
All in all, this is a pretty neat track! It sounds fairly good! I think that the pacing worked really well for the sort of "cinematic" feeling that it seemed to create. Thank you for sharing this with me! :) Keep up the good work <3
Also, Bitwig studios? The Ableton clone? That's really interesting. I only vaguely knew about that DAW, but your mentioning it inspired me to do more research and learn more about it! (I personally prefer Ableton from what I'm seeing, but I think it's cool that you're using it, especially if you plan on using Ableton as well). Bitwig's "modular" synthesis layout is really interesting also, much like the modulation matrix on the heisenberg, eh? ;P
Another thing that's interesting about this track is that it's at 130 bpm, but it sounds....slower than that. I might fiddle around with a remix at a lower BPM, but I see that concert marches are typically around 120 bpm, where house typically varies from 118 BPM to 135 BPM, so I think this COULD be closer to sort of a dark electro house? idk but that's just the impression I got. I digress.
