mixing and mastering, don't know if I like it better now though

  • it's missing it's high end. All those high frequency sounds sound like they are lacking dynamic, especially when that drop kicks in at 00:34 . also I would use some sort of pitch build or noise sweep starting at 00:25 to help bring up the energy before the drop. Your sounds are catchy, but simple. Try some layering techniques. Clone your lead synth and change it's harmonics, or add more oscillators to your current one, maybe even some filter changes may help. Good work, keep it up!

    • Thanks, currently working on a song that gives big time 80s feel! It finna be lit

    • haha yeah you're a smart person, I figured you already knew that stuff. I should start stepping up my own game, or you're gonna pass me in no time ;) Can't wait to hear the finished product!

    • Yeah I know, I usually do that towards the ending of my mixing and mastering process. I always use the "Curve" EQ and set that to post. And thank you for the offer, but I know to watch the dec levels and the quantum, it's pretty easy to understand lol no rocket science exactly haha

  • also just for fun, try typing that lead into a more aggressive pulsedelay, and then dial it back using the feedback knob. just a suggestion, I love delay effects, but that one may or may not do you any good. Best of luck!

    • I have one delay effect and that one is used for a whistle synth in the beginning, the delay you hear is just other synths, but yea might try

  • Nice
